Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Corporate Merchandiser to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, analyzing sales data, enhancing visual merchandising, and maintaining relationships with multi brand retailers (MBO). This role plays a crucial part in ensuring our product offerings meet market demand and contribute to the company's overall profitability.
Candidate must and should have prior work experience in the luxury space
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management:
• Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels to meet customer demand and minimize overstock situations across the stores
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely restocking and efficient inventory turnover.
2. Sales Analysis:
• Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, product trends, and inventory status.
3. Visual Merchandising:
• Develop and implement appealing product displays to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure product displays align with promotional activities and brand guidelines.
4. Market Research:
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences.
• Utilize market research to make informed decisions about product placement and promotional strategies.
5. Pricing Strategy:
• Assist in setting and adjusting prices to maintain a balance between competitiveness and profitability.
• Monitor pricing trends and make recommendations for price adjustments as needed.
6. Promotional Planning:
• Work closely with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities that boost product visibility and sales.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of promotional campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
• Proven experience in merchandising, inventory management, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with inventory management software.
Working Conditions:
• Full-time position based in our corporate office.
• Occasional travel to retail sites as required.
