Job Title: AGM - Structures - Design and Architecture

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced AGM Structural with over 15 years of relevant experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in structural design and analysis, project management, and leadership, specifically in large-scale projects (G+40) and a strong understanding of regional codes and standards. The Senior Structural Engineer will be responsible for leading structural engineering teams, managing projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and delivering on client expectations while aligning with financial and internal processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Internal Process Perspective:

  • Lead and oversee the development of detailed structural designs, calculations, and analysis for large-scale projects.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal quality standards, processes, and project specifications.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project execution and troubleshoot any technical challenges that arise.
  • Maintain thorough records of structural designs, modifications, and approvals in compliance with regulatory and internal documentation requirements.

Financial Perspective:

  • Manage project budgets by ensuring that structural designs and project deliverables meet budgetary constraints.
  • Monitor and control project costs related to materials, labor, and resources associated with structural engineering tasks.
  • Recommend cost-effective engineering solutions while maintaining the integrity and safety of the design.

Customer Perspective:

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns, providing updates, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Deliver high-quality structural designs in line with client specifications, regional codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to clients, ensuring the successful delivery of projects within agreed timelines and budgets.

People Perspective:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of structural engineers, providing guidance on design solutions and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Conduct performance reviews, set objectives for team members, and ensure continuous professional development within the team.
  • Foster strong communication and teamwork across different departments, ensuring smooth coordination for project delivery.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • 15+ years of relevant structural engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software, including RISA, TEKLA, STAAD, ETABS, and REVIT.
  • Experience with large-scale projects (G+40) and a deep understanding of regional codes and standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and meeting deadlines.
  • In-depth knowledge of Federal, State, and Local regulatory and permitting requirements.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills with a focus on recommending and implementing technical solutions.
