They believe in building characters and universes that engage and entertain audiences for a longer period of time, creating a fandom. KathaVersse aims to develop content IPs with a minimum shelf life of 7 years, maximizing ROI for audiences, advertisers, and OTT partners. The company has two content brands - Antenaaa Studios, which focuses on franchise-driven premium fiction web shows, and Digital Commentary, a nonfiction division with a strong presence on YouTube.


Digital Commentary: Digital Commentary is the non-fiction division of KathaVersse that aims to be the audience's one-stop companion for all the infotainment in the Cinema/OTT/YouTube space. We create IPs such as chat shows, podcasts, reality shows, game shows, movie/web-series reviews, and more.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Social Media Manager at KathaVersse Media Network in Mumbai. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of social media platforms, developing and implementing social media marketing campaigns, creating engaging content, optimizing social media presence, and managing communication with the audience. The role requires strong writing skills and the ability to strategize and execute effective social media campaigns.



Key Responsibilities  

  1. Creatively co-lead social media strategy of our non-fiction brand DIGITAL COMMENTARY  
  2. Responsible for growing YouTube and Instagram’s subscription, viewership and engagement month on month without being stagnant  
  3. Monitor social media trends, tools, and analytics to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement, and adjust strategies accordingly. 
  4. Track and analyze key performance metrics, such as reach, engagement, and conversion rates, and provide regular reports and insights to inform decision-making and strategy refinement. 
  5. Stay updated on industry trends, platform updates, and emerging social media technologies to drive innovation and stay ahead of the curve. 
  6. Create and curate engaging content for social media platforms, including posts, videos, graphics, and stories, tailored to each platform's audience and best practices. 

 

 

Candidate Requirement:  

  1. EXTREME OWNERSHIP AND LONG-TERM VISION 
  2. Proven 3 + years of experience as a Social Media Manager preferably in a digital first media and entertainment company/industry. 
  3. MUST Be: A movie buff, creative/writer, enthusiastic, eager to learn, organized, passionate and have a good sense of aesthetics and design. A team player.  
  4.  Required to have strong written and verbal communication skills.  
  5. Well versed with digital tools and an understanding of social and digital media marketing. 
  6. Ensure timely team reviews & OKRs 
  7. Manage team expectations and take active interest in their personal & professional development
