Led by our Founder & CEO, Ms. Itisha Jalan, we are driven by passion, precision, and purpose, crafting homes that are visually stunning and thoughtfully designed for everyday living.Job Summary: As aProcurement Executiveat Chattels Design, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, products, and services required for our interior design projects. You will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, negotiating pricing and delivery terms, and coordinating logistics to meet project timelines. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in handling procurement operations within the interior design sector.Key Responsibilities: Source and procure interior design materials as per project requirements. Identify, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. Obtain competitive quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules. Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement documentation. Coordinate closely with the Accounts team for purchase order processing, vendor invoice submission, and timely payments. Track order status, manage delivery timelines, and perform quality checks upon receipt. Maintain and update the vendor database, including performance reviews and pricing history. Follow up on vendor payments, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate financial documentation. Coordinate logistics and deliveries to ensure materials reach project sites on schedule. Stay updated on new materials, market trends, and sustainable sourcing options. Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and standards.Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field. 1+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the interior design, architecture, or construction industry. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software/tools (e.g., ERP systems).
