About The Position:

We are looking for a senior IT Operations Resource to join and lead our IT initiatives relating to Payment Card Operations. His/her expertise will be instrumental in driving our end-to-end Credit Card Payment & Processing Services and implementing technological advancements. The person for this role shall have extensive experience in IT operations, change management, compliance, security audits, program management, vendor engagements, and account management with banks/credit card companies/fintechs.

In this role, the candidate will be working closely with the top stakeholders within the organization and with the external partners.


The candidate must have, hands on experience in the following:

Spearheading the entire gamut of daily operations of unit to ensure the highest level of operational service for a technology related program(s)


Plan-Execute end to end 24/7X365 days BFSI IT-Operations Team with highest degree of accuracy.

Monitoring projects and coordinating personnel and actions required to meet customer commitments and deadlines


Ensure proper resources allocated to manage 24/7 X 365 days un-interrupted operations

Developing and maintaining strong stakeholder and solution provider relationships built on trust, delivery performance, proactive communications, and thought leadership


Manage and review daily and weekly escalations ticket take appropriate actions banks wise for closure. Must report to reporting manager with proposed solution.


Working knowledge with PCI-DSS,SAR-DL,ISO27001,RBI-Audits,Bank Audits


Track and manage audits. Ensure complete IT Operation activities are in Payment Card Industry compliance


The Head IT Operations will be bridge between Bank and Management Team for day to day operational activities, issues and escalations


Be part of frequency meetings with Banks for issues, requirements raised by Bank and work towards closure of open items with respect to IT Operations


Liaise with various internal stakeholders like IT Infrastructure, Banks IT, Vendor IT, Payment Networks Teams to setup new connectivity or troubleshooting of existing connectivity issues.


Efficiency in Vendor identification, negotiation and vendor on-boarding required for Banking echo system


Must have very good knowledge of NPCI, VISA and MasterCard interfaces, should be able to communicate with respective payment network SPOCs for any new requirements, BIN Certifications, Bank on boarding process, and customer related queries etc.


Efficient in interacting and negotiating with clients for follow-up on unresolved issues, analyzing and resolving problems, performing due-diligence, system study & analysis, reporting, so on; effective in ensuring high-quality customer satisfaction while adhering to the work processes

Competent in end-to-end project planning,Change Management,Release Management & implementation including scope management, activity sequencing, cost estimation, risk management and quality management in line with set guidelines & norms

Leveraging program management tools and processes to assign work, manage delivery, measure results, and produce reports in accordance with established service level agreements

Team Player, Mentoring and coaching staff and ensuring their professional development through continuing education and professional affiliations/associations

Extensive experience in project management and program management.

Must have Proven capabilities in the management of handholding of business partners & other key stakeholders

Expertise the candidate brings in:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, computer science, Information Technology, or a similar field
  2. Should have a strong background in IT with experience in Payments, Banks or Credit Card organisations
  3. Prior experience of 10-15 years handling BFSI, Project Management, Service Delivery, Operations, IT Security and Compliance audits in the payment industry.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset and the capability to identify operational bottlenecks, implement improvements, and make strategic decisions
  5. Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the payments industry.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
