Location: IIIT Bangalore 

Experience Required: Entry-level (Students or early graduates) 

Type: 6-month internship  

About A4I Lab: 

The AI Innovation and Inclusion Initiative (A4I) is a collaboration between Microsoft and IIIT-Bangalore, focused on building Digital Public Goods (DPGs) using AI for social good. Our team works on transforming innovations into large-scale open-source solutions that address critical societal challenges. 

Role Overview: 

We are seeking a tech-focused intern to assist in the design, development, and testing of solution components. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates with strong academic backgrounds and a passion for building Full Stack solutions with integration to LLMs.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Support the development of the architecture embedding models and pipelines using LLMs and GenAI. 
  • Assist in implementing, doing research, fine-tuning, and testing the solutions. 
  • The work will involve end to end development 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in a relevant technical field 
  • Strong academic record and hands-on programming skills 
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with agentic frameworks 
  • Interest in GenAI, LLMs, and applied AI projects
