Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive HR Intern to become an integral part of our People & Culture team at goSTOPS. If you're passionate about people, process, and building an incredible workplace culture, this is the perfect opportunity to kickstart your HR career.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Sourcing: Assist in identifying, attracting, and shortlisting potential candidates for various roles across our hostels and corporate functions using job boards, social media, and professional networks.
- Candidate Experience: Support the recruitment team in scheduling interviews, coordinating with candidates, and ensuring a positive candidate journey from application to offer.
- Job Ad Management: Draft, review, and post engaging job descriptions on various platforms to attract top talent.
- Applicant Tracking: Help maintain and update our applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accurate and organized candidate data.
- Initial Screening: Conduct preliminary resume screenings and initial phone calls to assess candidate suitability.
- Employee Data Management: Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, both physical and digital, ensuring compliance and easy accessibility.
- HR Documentation: Assist in preparing HR-related documents, letters, and reports as required.
- Policy & Process Support: Help in communicating and implementing HR policies and procedures across the organization.
- Employee Engagement Initiatives: Contribute to organizing and executing employee engagement activities, events, and internal communications that foster our unique goSTOPS culture.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including data entry, filing, and managing HR-related correspondence.
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- A strong, demonstrable interest in building a career in Human Resources, particularly within the hospitality or travel sector.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and empathetically.
- Highly organized, meticulous with details, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a willingness to learn new HR software/systems.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with utmost discretion and professionalism.
- A proactive, eager-to-learn attitude, and a strong team player mentality.
- Passion for travel and understanding the unique needs of a youth-centric brand like goSTOPS.
