POSITION : Assistant Manager - Odoo ERP System Developer/Operator

LOCATION: Saudi Arabia

SALARY : SAR 5000 - 6000


OVERVIEW:

Our client is seeking for an experienced Assistant Manager - Odoo ERP System Developer/Operator to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python and Odoo development, database management, and a deep understanding of how changes in one module can impact data across other modules.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Odoo Development and Customization: Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules (Sales, Accounting, Manufacturing, etc.) to meet business requirements.
  2. System Administration: Oversee the installation, configuration, and management of Odoo ERP systems on Linux/Unix platforms.
  3. Database Management: Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and security.
  4. Integration and Migration: Design and implement integrations with other systems and lead data migration projects.
  5. Module Impact Analysis: Conduct thorough impact analysis of changes in Odoo modules to ensure data consistency and system integrity across all modules.
  6. Collaboration and Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, accounting, and manufacturing, to gather requirements and provide technical support.
  7. Version Control and Deployment: Utilize GitHub and Odoo.sh for version control and deployment processes.
  8. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for system configurations, customizations, and workflows.



PRE - REQUISITES:

  • BSC in IT or equivalent qualification
  • Proven 2 - 3 years experience in Odoo ERP development and customization.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience in Odoo development.
  • Database Management: Proficiency in managing PostgreSQL databases.
  • Operating Systems: Familiarity with Linux/Unix platforms.
  • Module Expertise: Deep understanding of various Odoo modules and how changes in one module affect others (e.g., sales, accounting, manufacturing).
  • Version Control: Experience with GitHub and Odoo.sh for source code management and deployment.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct impact analysis.
