Description:The Channel Sales Manager for Loan Against Property (LAP) is responsible for driving the sales of LAP products through a network of partners, agents, and brokers in a specified region. This role will focus on managing channel partnerships, developing sales strategies, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets for the LAP product. The ideal candidate will have strong relationship-building skills, a deep understanding of the LAP product, and experience in managing sales channels effectively.Key Target Achievement:- Own and drive the sales targets for LAP products in the assigned region.- Develop and execute strategic plans to increase sales and achieve revenue goals.- Track sales performance, analyze trends, and take corrective actions when necessary to ensure target fulfillment.Channel Partner Management:- Identify, onboard, and manage channel partners such as real estate agents, brokers, financial consultants, and independent agents.- Maintain and nurture strong relationships with key partners to ensure a continuous pipeline of business.- Provide support to channel partners in terms of training, product knowledge, and sales materials.Sales Strategy Development:- Create and implement local sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and marketing activities to drive demand for LAP products.- Collaborate with the marketing team to design promotional offers and campaigns to generate leads and enhance visibility.Training Support:- Conduct regular training sessions for channel partners to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge needed to sell the LAP product effectively.- Assist partners in understanding the LAP product offerings, eligibility criteria, documentation, and loan processes.- Provide ongoing support to channel partners to resolve queries and help close deals.Market Analysis Feedback:- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.- Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams regarding customer needs, competitive landscape, and potential improvements to the LAP product.- Regularly assess the performance of channel partners and make recommendations for improvements.Customer Acquisition Lead Generation:- Work with partners to identify potential clients and generate leads through networking, events, and marketing campaigns.- Guide partners in customer engagement and closing deals for LAP loans.- Support the partners in the loan application process to ensure smooth and timely disbursements.Compliance Documentation:- Ensure that all channel sales activities comply with regulatory guidelines and company policies.- Assist in the proper documentation of loan agreements, ensuring all compliance checks are completed.- Monitor the quality of leads and loan submissions from partners to minimize risk and default.Reporting Analytics:- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.- Monitor KPIs and other performance metrics to evaluate the success of channel sales strategies.- Provide actionable insights to improve performance and achieve sales targets.Relationship Building:- Build long-term relationships with top-performing channel partners and ensure they are motivated to continue working with the company.- Regularly meet with partners to strengthen relationships, identify issues, and enhance collaboration.Key Skills Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, business development, or channel sales, preferably in the banking, financial services, or real estate sector. At least 2-3 years in managing channel Strong understanding of Loan Against Property (LAP) products, loan processes, and the financial services market.- Knowledge of the local real estate market, including property valuation and legal documentation.- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work with channel partners and drive sales results.- Leadership and team management skills to motivate channel partners.- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret sales data to guide decision-making.- Problem-solving abilities to address challenges in the sales process and customer journey.
