Convosight - Senior Manager - Consumer Intelligence

We are a leading Generative-AI based Video Intelligence platform that partners with over 150 consumer brands globally.
Our platform combines advanced social intelligence, community insights, and influencer analytics to drive brand growth strategies across multiple verticals including parenting, beauty, food, and health & wellness.
Role Overview:
- We're seeking an experienced candidate for the Consumer Intelligence role to transform text/visual/video data into actionable insights using a proprietary intelligence platform to drive strategic decisions for our clients.
- This role will be part of the Consumer Intelligence & Insights team that works closely with the Sales team to deliver comprehensive and actionable reports to help clients understand consumer behaviour, market trends, competition analysis, etc.
- There will be a big focus on understanding and utilising our internal product suites and bringing expertise to assemble well-structured reports that simplify key takeaways and insights.
- This role is in a startup and it comes with time pressures, tight deadlines, multi-tasking and a strong delivery focus.
- The ability to prioritize, a high level of intellectual curiosity and a problem-solving mindset are essential for the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define research approach, brand objectives and outcomes for clients.
- Work closely with the sales team in creating research proposals and research frameworks using innovative product-led methodologies.
- Work on multiple types of research analysis such as Category Research, NPD study,.
- Social Trends, Influencer Analysis, Social Media strategy and media mix modelling.
- Collaborate across teams with sales & product teams.
- Create frameworks, standardizations etc to streamline work and improve efficiency.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to methodology improvements.
Technical Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google tools and understanding of Marketing Metrics.
- Experience with tools such as Sprinklr, Brandwatch or other Social Listening / Analytics tools is a must.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and research methodologies is good to have.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
- Understanding of machine learning concepts and applications in consumer insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Analytics, Market Research, Statistics, or a related field 5+ years of experience in consumer insights or market research.
- Proven track record in social media analytics and trend analysis.
- Experience in FMCG/CPG sector preferred.
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellence in pattern recognition and trend identification.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights Strategic thinking with business acumen.
- Project management capabilities.
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Experience:
- Good knowledge of influencer marketing analytics.
- Experience with community management or social listening tools.
- Knowledge of beauty, parenting, food, or health & wellness categories.
- Familiarity with AI/ML applications in market research.
