the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Territory Manager to drive Gold Loan business across assigned branches. The role involves managing sales performance, executing marketing initiatives, building a high-quality loan portfolio, and ensuring strong collection efficiency. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Gold Loan or secured lending, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage both sales and recovery functions effectively.Key Responsibilities- Conduct competition mapping and share insights with the central product team to stay updated on market trends and competitor offerings.- Plan and execute BTL (Below-The-Line) marketing activities in branch catchment areas to enhance visibility and generate incremental leads.- Track activity-wise lead conversion and optimize performance for higher productivity.- Recruit, train, and manage Sales Managers and Sales Officers across the designated branches.- Drive daily sales performance, ensure achievement of disbursement and book outstanding targets, and maintain productivity benchmarks.- Provide continuous coaching to the team to improve sales effectiveness and customer handling.- Build and maintain a healthy and profitable Gold Loan portfolio aligned with company policies.- Ensure cost of acquisition remains within prescribed norms and business profitability metrics are met.- Monitor collection efficiency and recovery performance, ensuring delinquencies stay below permissible limits.- Facilitate smooth branch operations by ensuring adherence to processes, documentation norms, and audit guidelines specific to the Gold Loan business.- Coordinate closely with credit, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and servicing.- Identify gaps in branch processes and recommend improvements for better risk control and customer experience.Desired Skills & Experience- 3 - 6 years of experience in Gold Loans / Secured Lending / Field Sales (Gold Loan experience strongly preferred).- Strong understanding of Gold Loan processes, underwriting basics, valuation concepts, and risk management.- Experience in team handling and multi-branch management is an added advantage.- Excellent communication, people management, and customer engagement skills.- High self-drive, strong market awareness, and ability to work in a target-driven environment.
