Key Purpose of the Role (Position Summary)
This position is responsible for leading a regional sales team and ensuring the achievement of sales targets across designated geographies, covering both dealer and direct fleet channels. The incumbent will drive productivity within the regional office by leveraging customer and partner relationships, managing sales pipelines, overseeing collections, and maintaining commercial discipline. The role also includes delivering excellent customer service and supporting brand-building efforts in the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Planning & Strategy
- Develop and execute regional sales plans in alignment with overall zonal objectives
- Identify growth opportunities in untapped markets and customer segments
- Allocate sales targets by product, channel, and territory
- Drive territory-level planning through a bottom-up approach
Sales Management
- Monitor key performance metrics including market share, customer acquisition, and profitability
- Implement strategies to expand the channel network and customer base
- Lead, support, and track team leader (TL) performance to ensure consistent sales execution
- Use systems and analytics to track leads, conversion rates, and sales data
- Conduct field visits to assess market trends and competitor activity
Channel Development
- Identify and onboard new channel partners in alignment with expansion goals
- Support and develop the capabilities of partner employees for better customer service and product knowledge
- Engage regularly with key customers and channel stakeholders to strengthen relationships and drive growth
Commercial & Collections
- Ensure compliance with commercial processes and credit policies
- Monitor collections, outstanding payments, and drive reconciliation processes
- Work closely with finance and logistics to ensure operational efficiency and timely dispute resolution
Inventory & Logistics Management
- Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely product availability
- Manage inventory levels to minimize aging stock and push slow-moving items through targeted sales efforts
Customer Service
- Resolve customer and dealer escalations in collaboration with the regional service team
- Conduct field assessments to understand product usage, customer pain points, and service needs
Brand & Market Development
- Lead regional implementation of brand visibility and promotional initiatives
- Coordinate with corporate marketing for localized execution of campaigns and BTL activities
- Represent the organization in regional trade shows, customer meets, and dealer events to promote brand MBA
Experience: 4-7 years in sales, business development, or regional management in a B2B/B2C setting
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills required
