Role Overview:


The Search Ad Manager will play a key role in launching, scaling, and optimizing our search ad products. This individual will bridge program management and sales, working closely with product, sales, and marketing teams to drive growth and adoption. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of scaling search ad products on quick commerce or e-commerce platforms, with a deep understanding of the search advertising landscape.


Roles & responsibilities


  • Lead the go-to-market strategy for search ad products, including positioning, pricing, and promotion.
  • Drive the scale-up of search ad products by actively managing campaigns and collaborating with the sales team to onboard new clients.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and data teams to improve ad relevance, performance, and overall product functionality.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop effective training and educational materials, empowering them to sell search ad products with confidence.
  • Analyze campaign data, user behavior, and competitive trends to refine and optimize search ad offerings.
  • Provide regular insights and performance reports to stakeholders, identifying growth opportunities and actionable strategies.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on search ad products, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.


Preferred Qualifications


  • 4-5 years of experience managing and scaling search ad products for quick commerce or e-commerce platforms.
  • In-depth understanding of search advertising principles, search algorithms, and ad placement strategies.
  • Experience working in a role that combines program management and sales, with a track record of delivering results.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in data-driven decision-making and performance analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of driving both high-level initiatives and day-to-day operations.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with programmatic search advertising and real-time bidding.
  • Familiarity with digital advertising technologies, including ad servers, tracking tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of quick commerce industry trends and customer behaviors.
