Onsurity - P&C Insurance Sales Manager

Responsibilities:- Drive revenue growth by acquiring and managing a portfolio of commercial and personal P&C insurance clients across targeted industries and geographies.- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets, focusing on premium generation and client retention.- Identify client needs and risk exposures, and recommend tailored insurance solutions including property, general liability, auto, workers compensation, and specialty lines.- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and carrier partners to ensure competitive pricing, coverage optimization, and seamless service delivery.- Lead end-to-end sales cycles, including prospecting, needs analysis, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.- Collaborate with internal teams including underwriting, claims, and account managementto ensure high-quality client onboarding and ongoing support.- Stay informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings to position the firms value proposition effectively.- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and client interactions using CRM tools and reporting Bachelors degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or a related field (Certifications like IRDAI, CPCU, or ARM are a plus)with MBA.- 3-7 years of proven experience in P&C insurance sales, preferably in a brokerage or carrier environment.- Strong understanding of commercial and personal lines insurance products, underwriting principles, and risk management practices.- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets, with a track record of building long-term client relationships.- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex insurance concepts clearly.- Strategic thinker with a consultative sales approach and a passion for solving client challenges.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM platforms- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently as well as in a team environment.
