Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and versatile individual to join our team as a Business Development and Customer Success Specialist. This role is crucial in driving our growth by acquiring new clients, supporting marketing efforts, and serving as the primary point of contact for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business development, marketing, and client management, preferably with experience in the government contracting space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development:
- Identify and reach out to potential clients interested in government contracting.
- Develop and implement strategies to acquire new customers and expand our client base.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities in the government contracting sector.
- Attend networking events, industry conferences, and meetings to promote GovConPros' services.
- Marketing:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness and lead generation.
- Assist in creating marketing materials, including content for the website, social media, email campaigns, and other promotional materials.
- Track and analyze the performance of marketing efforts, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Customer Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Assist clients with their day-to-day needs and inquiries, providing exceptional customer support.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of services to clients.
- Monitor client satisfaction and work on strategies to enhance customer retention and loyalty.
- Collect feedback from clients and relay insights to the team to improve our services.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, marketing, or customer success, preferably in the government contracting or consulting industry.
- Strong understanding of government contracting processes and certifications (e.g., minority-owned, women-owned, veteran-owned certifications) is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Experience with RFP/RFQ processes and knowledge of government contract vehicles.
- Familiarity with marketing tools and CRM software.
