Job Description :

The Senior Python Developer will play a key role in maintaining, updating, and optimizing a wide range of Python applications across our ecosystem. This role is critical in ensuring our systems remain reliable, scalable, and aligned with business needs. The developer will collaborate closely with product owners, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions that support ARCHER's Responsibilities Development & Maintenance :


- Update, enhance, and maintain existing Python applications across the company's ecosystem.

- Refactor and modernize legacy codebases to improve performance, security, and maintainability.

- Contribute to data integration using ETL tools such as SSIS and develop reports using Power and Issue Resolution :


- Debug, investigate, and resolve complex issues in production and staging environments.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement permanent Integration & Optimization :


- Ensure seamless integration between Python applications and other internal or third-party systems.

- Contribute to the design and optimization of APIs, services, and database & Leadership :


- Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, promoting best practices.

- Identify and implement potential enhancements in collaboration with & Reporting :


- Monitor application performance, implementing improvements to enhance scalability and stability.

- Document solutions, processes, and technical decisions for knowledge & Abilities :


- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

- 5+ years of professional experience in Python development.

- Solid experience working with REST APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases, and asynchronous programming.

- Experience in ETL Tools like SSIS and Azure Data Factory.

- Experience in reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI.

- Proficiency with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows.

- Strong debugging, profiling, and optimization skills.

- Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills, able to work independently and within a team.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

- Ability to take loose or incompletely defined requirements and use knowledge and experience to create a finished product.
