About the Company :


As a Test Architect at Ascendion, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust testing strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
Your expertise in Python, Pytest framework, Selenium, API testing, Appium, test architecture, and Agile methodologies will be essential to lead our testing efforts the Role :


As a Test Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust testing strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of our software :


- Develop and implement end-to-end testing strategies for complex software systems.

- Design and execute automation tests using Python and Pytest framework to validate software functionality.

- Lead API testing initiatives to ensure seamless integration and functionality of backend

services.

- Utilize Selenium for web application testing to identify and address potential issues.

- Conduct mobile testing using Appium to enhance product performance on diverse platforms.

- Define and establish test architecture guidelines and best practices for the team to follow.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with Agile testing

methodologies.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members to enhance overall testing capabilities.

- Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to optimize testing :


- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Proven experience of 10-15 years in software testing with expertise in Python, Pytest

framework, Selenium, API testing, and Appium.

- Strong knowledge of test architecture design and implementation.

- Hands-on experience working in Agile environments and implementing Agile testing practices.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

- Certification in testing tools and methodologies would be a plus.


Required Skills :


- Expertise in Python and Pytest framework.


- Experience with Selenium and Appium.

- Strong understanding of API testing.

- Knowledge of Agile Skills :
