Description :Job Title : Delivery Director.Location : Bengaluru, India.Experience Required : 18- 20+ years.Employment Type : Full-time.About the Role :- We are looking for an experienced Delivery Director to lead and manage complex, large-scale delivery programs across multiple clients.- This strategic leadership role is suited for a senior delivery professional who has a strong background in enterprise program management, client engagement, stakeholder communication, and team leadership.- You will be accountable for ensuring high-quality delivery, profitability, and client satisfaction across a portfolio of projects.Key Responsibilities :- Provide end-to-end leadership for complex delivery programs across global clients, ensuring successful execution within time, scope, and budget.- Drive strategic planning, execution, and delivery of multi-million-dollar programs across diverse domains and technologies.- Act as the primary escalation point for delivery-related issues, with a strong focus on proactive risk management and mitigation.- Lead large, cross-functional teams (onshore/offshore) and delivery managers; mentor and build a high-performing delivery organization.- Collaborate closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, Solution Architects, and Account Managers to support business growth and expansion opportunities.- Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and governance processes across programs.- Manage budgets, forecasts, and P&L responsibilities for assigned accounts or programs.- Foster strong client relationships with C-level stakeholders; serve as a trusted advisor for digital transformation and innovation initiatives.- Drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and the adoption of best practices across delivery teams.Required Skills & Experience :- 18- 20+ years of IT services experience with a minimum of 10+ years in program/delivery management roles.- Proven track record of delivering complex, enterprise-scale programs involving digital technologies, cloud, data, or application modernization.- Experience managing multi-year engagements with Fortune 500 or global clients.- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive decisions at the executive level.- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills.- Deep understanding of SDLC, Agile, DevOps, and hybrid delivery models.- Financial and contractual acumen including P&L ownership and governance.- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.Preferred Qualifications :- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- PMP / PRINCE2 / SAFe / ITIL certifications are a plus.- Experience working with global delivery models (onshore, offshore, nearshore).Why Join Us? :- Lead strategic transformation and delivery initiatives across top-tier clients.- Work with a high-caliber team in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.- Competitive compensation and benefits tailored to senior leadership.About Ascendion :- Ascendion is a leading provider of AI-first software engineering services.- Our applied AI, software engineering, cloud, data, experience design, and talent transformation capabilities accelerate innovation for Global 2000 clients.- Ascendion is headquartered in New Jersey.- In addition to our remote/hybrid workforce, we have a presence in 12 countries and 40+ global offices across North America, Europe, and APAC.- We are committed to building technology powered by Generative AI with an inclusive workforce, service to our communities, and a vibrant culture.
