Sr. Recruiting Specialist – Palo Alto Networks (Contract)



This role is a contract assignment at Palo Alto Networks. Contractors will not be employed by Palo Alto Networks but through our trusted staffing partners.



The role of Sr. Recruiting Specialist supporting Background Checks and Identity Verification is an important role that is vital to the success of the organization.


Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India

Duration: 9 Months


Your Impact

  • Manage candidate background checks through a third-party vendor
  • Reach out, via email, to candidates to capture missing documentation or information that requires clarification.
  • Validate documentation provided in HireRight including some independent research to help assess and resolve background check discrepancies
  • Adjudicate background checks using Palo Alto Networks guidelines with strong attention to detail
  • Manage identity verification through a third-party vendor
  • Conduct candidate and hiring manager follow-up
  • Ensure all ID verifications are updated and tracked accurately
  • Maintain excellent customer service in communicating with candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers
  • Adhere to processes and adjudication guidelines, but have the ability to think outside the box for issues that arise outside stated guidelines and provide recommendations to lead prior to moving forward
  • Provide development support with process changes, project management and gathering data to make informed recommendations for change.
  • Support Recruiting Operations projects including identifying opportunities for improvement, supporting project management, documenting processes and process changes, and training recruiters.

Your Experience

  • Minimum of two years experience required in Background Check verifications.
  • High degree of attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and able to “connect dots” to see the bigger picture of related issues and common solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving is an absolute must, with a focus on finding scalable solutions
  • Demonstrate a high degree of integrity and maintains confidentiality
  • Flexible and able to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and deadlines
  • Proficient at handling high volumes of work and multi-tasking
  • Proficient in use of MS Office or GSuite, specifically Gmail, Sheets and Docs
  • Excellent command / highly proficient in spoken and written English
