Our cloud-based SHELL technology allows for quick tour package creation and instant quotes. With 24/7 Concierge Support, we provide on-tour assistance to travelers whenever and wherever they need.


Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Content Specialist at Turtle Down Under. The Content Specialist will be responsible for communication, web content writing, socials content strategy, writing, and content management tasks to create engaging content for our clients in Southeast Asia and India.


Key Responsibilities: 


  • Research industry trends and content ideas. 
  • Develop content for various marketing channels, including campaigns, websites, emails, social media, media releases, blogs, and paid advertising. 
  • Write clear, compelling headlines and copy to promote our products/services. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create content for advertising campaigns. 
  • Proofread and edit content for accuracy, consistency, and clarity. 
  • Drive content marketing initiatives to generate traffic, engagement, leads, and sales. 
  • Edit and refine existing content to enhance readability. 
  • Ensure consistency in style, tone, images, and formatting across all content. 
  • Apply basic SEO practices for content optimization and distribution. 
  • Work across teams to deliver a content strategy that meets business goals at a minimal cost. 
  • Minimum 15 hours per week

 

Qualifications

  • Communication and Writing skills
  • Web Content Writing and Content Strategy abilities
  • Content Management expertise
  • Copywriting
  • 2+ years of proven experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role. 
  • Strong research skills using various sources. 
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English. 
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Understanding of target and global audiences. 
  • Familiarity with web publications is a plus. 
  • Self-starter with a keen willingness to learn and a strong sense of integrity. 
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized. 
  • Positive, can-do attitude. 



Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include a passion for travel, knowledge of Australian and New Zealand destinations, experience in the tourism industry, and a Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field. Joining immediately.
