Job Overview:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will play a key role in overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to drive strategic decisions.
- The Finance Manager will manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensure the company's financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Provide detailed financial analysis and forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Identify trends, fluctuations, and financial risks, and recommend actions to improve financial performance.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate budgets.
- Monitor budget performance throughout the year and adjust forecasts accordingly.
- Analyze variances between actuals and forecasts, providing recommendations for corrective action.
Cash Flow Management:
- Oversee cash flow planning and ensure the company has the necessary liquidity to meet its obligations.
- Monitor daily cash balances and forecast cash flow requirements for both short- and long-term needs.
- Ensure efficient use of financial resources and optimal allocation of capital.
Financial Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute long-term financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives.
- Work with senior leadership to set financial goals and ensure alignment with overall business strategy.
- Advise on business planning, financial risk management, and capital investment decisions.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, laws, and internal controls.
- Manage audits and ensure that all financial processes and reports comply with industry standards.
- Review financial risks and implement risk management strategies to safeguard the company's assets.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, ensuring effective performance and growth.
- Provide guidance and support in financial processes and problem-solving across departments.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the finance team.
Cost Management:
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to reduce operational expenses.
- Analyze spending patterns and develop strategies to enhance profitability.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the main point of contact for financial matters with internal stakeholders and external partners (e.g, auditors, regulatory bodies, banks).
- Present financial performance and strategies to senior executives and board members.
Required Skills & Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g, CPA, CFA, or ACCA) is highly 4+ years of experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
- Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Experience in managing financial teams and providing leadership.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in financial software (e.g, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, financial modeling, etc.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
