Job Title: Japanese Account ManagerOffice Location: Gurgaon or BangaloreResponsible Area: PAN IndiaExperience: 7~ 15 YearsJob SummaryWe are seeking a Japanese Account Manager for a Technical Sales role in India to support business development, customer relationship management for Japanese clients and their Japanese headquarters. The role requires strong technical understanding, bilingual communication skills, and the ability to work in a cross-cultural environment.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and develop new business opportunities in the Japanese companies & identify concerned decision maker of Japanese companies in India & Japan officeManage existing key accounts and build long-term customer relationshipsPrepare sales proposals, quotations, and technical presentationsSupport negotiations and contract finalization with customersCustomer Engagement & Technical SupportUnderstand customer application requirements and propose technically suitable solutions.Coordinate with Japanese clients at India & JapanConduct product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concept (POC) sessions.Act as the technical interface between customers, OEM principals, and internal teams.Support customers with pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance.Account ManagementDevelop and manage Japanese key accounts.Build long-term relationships with decision-makers, influencers, and end users.Maintain accurate customer data, forecasts, and pipeline in CRM tools.Participate in joint customer visits, seminars, and technical workshops.Coordination & CommunicationAct as a communication bridge between Japanese expats in India & Nanotech- TMI management.Translate technical and commercial information (Japanese ↔ English)Prepare reports, market analysis, and sales forecasts for Head OfficeMarket & Customer InsightAnalyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs (especially Japanese clients)Provide strategic feedback to HO for business improvement for Japanese accountsSales & Commercial Skills Experience in B2B technical salesStrong negotiation, presentation, and closing skillsAbility to translate technical features into customer valueComfortable with target-driven environmentsMarketing & PromotionsMonitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies.Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and technical events.Support marketing activities including email campaigns, webinars, and product launches.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Monthly / quarterly sales targetsOrder booking & revenue growthCustomer acquisition & retentionPipeline accuracy & forecast reliabilityCustomer satisfactionTechnical Skills* Strong understanding of industrial products, machinery, equipment, or technical solutions* Ability to read and explain technical drawings, specifications, and datasheetsQualification & RequirementsExperience: 7~ 12 Years in technical sales or B2B salesExperience working with Indian customers or in India is highly preferredLanguage Skills: Native Japanese/ Business Level EnglishWork Authorization: Valid Passport and eligiblity to work in India.
