You'll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients - which means some of the biggest in the world.There's never a typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You'll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance. Key Responsibilities: AWS Cloud Operations •MonitorAWS infrastructure for availability, performance, and security issues. • Review alerts, notifications, and system events, ensuringappropriate escalationand resolution. • Create and manage support tickets in the service desk for incident tracking. • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as patching, updates, and backup verification. Azure Cloud Operations •MonitorAzure instance infrastructure, ensuring uptime and performance. • Review alerts, events, and notifications, and act accordingly to remediate issues. • Take proactive and reactive measures to correct and prevent recurring issues. • Support routine operational tasks such as VM provisioning, configuration, and updates. General Support & Collaboration • Communicate effectively with peers, L1 teams, and managersregardingsystem issues and escalations. •Participatein incident, request, and change management processes. • Provide support in problem analysis andassistin RCA preparation for critical issues. • Contribute to documentation, knowledge base (KBase), and SOPs for cloud operations.Tools & Platforms: • AWS Cloud Services (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.) • Azure Cloud Services (VMs, Resource Manager, Monitor, SecurityCenter, etc.) • Monitoring & alerting tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, third-party tools) • Ticketing/ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, JIRA, or equivalent)Required Skills & Experience: • 4-7 years of experience in cloud support/operations with AWS and Azure. • Strong knowledge of monitoring, alert management, and incident handling in cloud environments. • Experience in performing routine maintenance, patching, and operational tasks. • Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Request, Change, and Problem Management). • Good understanding of cloud networking, storage, and security best practices.Certifications (Preferred): • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate/Professional • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate / Azure Solutions Architect • VMware Certified Professional (VCP) - added advantageSoft Skills: • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability. • Effective communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical teams. • Ability to work in 24x7 support model / rotational shifts. • Proactive approach towards issue prevention and service improvement.Being You Diversity is a whole lot more than what we look like or where we come from, it's how we think and who we are.
