Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Data Support Engineer to maintain, monitor, and optimize ETL processes using SSIS and SQL Server. The role involves supporting data integration, warehousing, and analytical operations by ensuring data pipelines are accurate, reliable, and efficient. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting data-related issues and contributing to process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support ETL workflows using SSIS and SQL Server.
  • Monitor daily data loads and ensure data quality, consistency, and availability.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to support reporting and integration requirements.
  • Optimize SQL queries and ETL packages for better performance.
  • Maintain documentation for data processes, mappings, and workflows.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of data operations and automation initiatives.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience with SQL and SQL Server.
  • Hands-on experience in ETL development and support using SSIS.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and relational database design.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize data workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with data visualization or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Exposure to cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Basic scripting knowledge (Python or PowerShell) for automation.
