Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Service Desk Officer to work autonomously to provide support to our dynamic Engineering team office in Pune, Maharashtra.
The IT Service Desk Officer with support from the Australian based Information Systems team is responsible for the overall administration and coordination off all IT requirements in Pune.
Responsibilities:
- Configure, administer, and monitor IT access for employees from Onboarding to Exit.
- Troubleshooting of any hardware/system IT issues.
- Managing user/service desk requests in a timely fashion via a ticket system.
- Monitoring logs and system performance.
- Provide updates, status reports, data and other information as requested by the IT Team.
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors and hardware suppliers.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a service desk/IT support position.
- Intermediate English language written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience working in a cloud-based IT environment.
- Good understanding of network technologies (DHCP/DNS/LAN/WLAN/WAN)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
