Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support the planning, execution, and management of Solar projects. The Project Engineer will work closely with the Project Manager and technical teams to ensure Solar project accuracy, quality, and timely delivery. This role requires strong Solar industry related technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities:

1.Technical Project Support: Assist in the planning and execution of engineering projects. Provide technical expertise and support to project teams. Conduct research and analysis to support project objectives and completion time.

2.Design and Development: Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop project designs and specifications with site survey and site visits. Assist in the development of engineering drawings, schematics, and plans. Review design documentation and provide feedback as needed.

3.Construction and Implementation: Support project implementation activities, including construction, installation and commission. Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications. Coordinate with I&C contactors for project completion and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

4.Quality Assurance and Control: Conduct quality inspections and tests to verify compliance with project requirements. Identify and address quality issues during project execution. Document and report quality metrics and findings to project stakeholders.

5. Project Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, specifications, and records of project activities. Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and other documentation as required. Organize and maintain project files and records for future reference.

6.Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met. Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams. Provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and issues.


Qualification:


1.Education: A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Project Management, or a related field is required. A master's degree or additional certifications in Project Management or Renewable Energy would be advantageous.

2.Experience: Proven experience in engineering project support or related roles, typically ranging from 2 to 3 years depending on the complexity of projects and industry requirements. Experience in project management or construction management is beneficial.

3.Technical Skills: Strong technical skills in engineering principles, including design, analysis, and construction. Proficiency in engineering software and tools relevant to the industry, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or project management software.

4.Project Management Knowledge: Understanding of project management principles and practices, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management. Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall may be advantageous.

5.Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions.

6.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to diverse audiences. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

4.Quality Assurance and Control: Conducting quality inspections and tests to verify compliance with project requirements. Addressing and resolving any quality issues that arise during project execution.

5.Project Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and records of activities. Preparing technical reports, progress updates, and other documentation as required.

6.Collaboration and Communication: Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met. Communicating regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.

1.Timely Project Delivery: Completing projects within established timelines and milestones. Minimizing delays and optimizing project schedules for efficient delivery.

2.Design Accuracy and Compliance: Ensuring project designs and specifications meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Providing accurate and timely feedback on design documentation to maintain compliance.

3.Construction Oversight and Compliance: Monitoring construction progress and ensuring Adherence to project plans and specifications. Addressing any deviations or issues promptly to maintain project quality and compliance.

4.Quality Assurance Performance: Achieving and maintaining high-quality standards throughout project execution. Demonstrating consistency in conducting quality inspections and tests to verify compliance.

5.Comprehensive Project Documentation: Maintaining organized and up-to-date project documentation for reference and audit purposes. Providing detailed and accurate reports on project status, progress, and key metrics.

6.Effective Collaboration and Communication: Building strong working relationships with team members and stakeholders to facilitate collaboration. Communicating project updates, milestones, and issues effectively to ensure alignment and transparency.
