Company Description

Malibu Worldcom Pvt. Ltd., part of the Malibu Group, is a Gujarat-based financial services company, established in 1980, that has, over the years, built a strong foundation in equity & commodity markets, land trading and also owns & operates an online platform for exotic food produce with the brand name ‘Slyce’. With its ever-expanding portfolio, the Group is now diversifying into various other sectors, such as start-up investing and renewable energy. We have already secured 5 MW of solar power projects. The company will leverage its expertise to develop, own and operate these plants under the PM KUSUM Yojna scheme and Group Captive model, demonstrating its commitment to a sustainable future for India.


Role Description:

We have already won 2 solar projects, 1 MW each, for captive consumption and 1 solar project of 2 MWs for the PM KUSUM Yojna scheme. We are setting up a core team of 10 to ensure the end-to-end execution of these projects, from land acquisition to plant commissioning.


Details:

  • Connect with land aggregators and create a database of available land for solar around Gujarat.
  • Drive sales of EPC projects in the C&I segment, with a focus on achieving sales targets and expanding market share.
  • Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to project closure.
  • Prepare and track MIS on the execution of solar plants.
  • Understand project requirements, provide technical information, prepare proposals, and collaborate with internal teams.
  • Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring adherence to company policies and profitability targets.
  • Conduct in-depth consultations with customers to understand their energy needs, provide tailored solar solutions, and present compelling value propositions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Keeping track of state and central solar policies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, consultants, and stakeholders in the solar industry.


Qualifications Requirements:

  • Under-Graduation & Post-Graduation: Business Administration/ Marketing/ Engineering or a related field.
  • Industry Type: Power (Renewables)
  • Department: Project & Business Development
  • Experience: Worked in the solar industry and have experience in setting up solar projects (rooftop/ground mounted) and in project execution (in general).
  • Skills Required:
  • Technical knowledge of the industry
  • Project management skills
  • Expertise to drive solar energy project implementations
  • Export in operating Computer and MS Office
  • Proficient in English
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
