Role Overview:


Gradiant is an industry leader in cleantech water treatment and pioneering the future of sustainable water. The Sales Manager should have a good and intensive knowledge in water, Gradiant serves the world essential industries in their mission-critical water operations. Seeking a highly motivated, energetic and Experienced Sales Manager for Business Development of CURE Chemicals Sales in assigned region.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible in leading business development in assigned region (whole of India, especially west which is Industry-heavy region) and achieving annual CURE chemicals sales targets
  • Responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies with aim of achieving the sales targets
  • Identify new prospects, business opportunities and new local projects, prepare presentations of findings for upcoming tender to bid for the tender
  • Coordinate & Support Gradiant India Project Teams with sales & service support for developing chemicals sales in Gradiant’s own projects
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to deliver value to customers
  • Negotiate with customers terms and conditions in line with our policies to secure sales contract
  • Analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities for growth and staying ahead of competition
  • Delivering compelling product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients
  • Providing customer technical service and support to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty
  • Assisting clients in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to chemical programs
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory environment, market dynamics and competitor activities
  • Propose strategies to expand market presence and penetration
  • Form team of Sales & Service executives as aligned to business growth requirements in India


Qualifications:


  • 7-12 years of working experience in Water & Process Treatment Chemicals servicing diverse industrial customers covering wide applications
  • Good chemical product knowledge and understanding of their applications, and benefits
  • Preferred if worked on applications such as Water & Wastewater Treatment, Membrane Systems, Cooling Systems, Boiler Systems, & Process Industrial Treatment
  • Good understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance for water treatment chemical products
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed business decisions
  • Ability to develop accurate sales forecast
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks to meet sales targets and deadlines
  • Candidate must possess a Degree in Chemical Engineering from a reputed university
  • Willing to travel in assigned market regions (entire India) to develop the business in India
