Job Description
The Relationship Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. This role involves acting as the primary point of contact for clients, managing accounts, and working closely with various departments to deliver tailored solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Engagement and Relationship Building
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Identify opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty, addressing their needs & concerns promptly as well as effectively.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing clients with relevant information about products, services, and industry trends.
2. Account Management:
- Manage client accounts, ensuring all client information is up-to-date and accurately maintained in the company’s CRM system.
- Monitor clients’ accounts for any issues or opportunities, taking proactive measures to address them.
- Prepare and deliver regular account reviews and performance reports to clients.
3. Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing clients to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for client acquisition and retention.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new business and renew existing contracts.
4. Customer Service and Support:
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients.
- Collect and analyse clients’ feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
5. Market and Industry Knowledge:
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to provide clients with relevant insights.
- Share market intelligence with internal teams to inform product development and marketing strategies.
6. Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and progress in the CRM system.
- Generate regular reports on account statuses, client feedbacks, and other relevant metrics for management review.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Relationship Manager, Account Manager, or similar role.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality service.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Insurance field.
- Advanced degree or certifications in related fields.
- Demonstrated track record of successful client relationship management and business development.
