Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Quality Analyst Lead to oversee our QA team in both automation and manual testing. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in API testing and be responsible for ensuring

the highest quality of our software products through rigorous testing procedures and effective team leadership.



Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. Leadership & Team Management:


  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA analysts, ensuring they have the necessary tools and support.
  • Coordinate and prioritize testing activities across multiple projects.
  • Develop and implement best practices, testing standards, and strategies.

 

2. Test Planning & Execution:


  • Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
  • Conduct thorough manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure the functionality, performance, and stability of software products.
  • Perform API testing to validate data integrity and performance.



 

3.Automation Testing:


  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Continuously improve and expand the automation test suite to cover new functionalities and improve test coverage.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.


 

4. Manual Testing:


  • Execute detailed manual test cases to identify defects and ensure the quality of the product.
  • Conduct exploratory testing to uncover potential issues and validate product behavior.


 

5.API Testing:


  • Design, develop, and execute API test plans and test cases.
  • Use tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar to test and validate API functionality, performance, and security.
  • Automate API tests and integrate them into the testing framework.


 

 

6.Collaboration & Communication:


  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
  • Communicate test results, defect tracking, and resolution status to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Advocate for quality and continuous improvement within the team and across the organization.



 

7.Documentation & Reporting:


  • Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports.
  • Generate regular reports on testing progress, coverage, and quality metrics.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving the testing process and product quality.


Requirements:


  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for test automation.
  • Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
