About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales and Marketing Head to join our team in Kozhikode, India.



Responsibilities:



  • Sales Team Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a pan-India team of 50+ sales professionals to meet and exceed performance targets.
  • Create a positive and productive team environment through effective coaching, motivation, and professional development.
  • Establish clear sales goals, KPIs, and accountability standards to optimize performance and achieve regional targets.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy tailored to the sports and infrastructure industry across diverse regions in India.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify growth opportunities, assess competition, and align strategies to achieve competitive advantage.
  • Allocate resources effectively to maximize reach and potential in high-growth regions while addressing unique market dynamics.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Oversee and analyze sales data to track team performance and refine strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Regularly report on sales progress, forecasts, and actionable insights to senior management, outlining successes, challenges, and proposed solutions.
  • Utilize CRM and sales analytics tools to monitor customer interactions, trends, and sales effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, finance, and customer support, to ensure alignment with the company’s growth objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather insights, address challenges, and adapt strategies as needed to meet market demands.
  • Customer Relationship and Retention:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders across India to boost customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Lead CRM initiatives to enhance customer engagement, streamline communication, and ensure long-term retention.
  • Market Expansion and Innovation:
  • Identify new sales opportunities within untapped markets and emerging regions, driving business growth and market share.
  • Introduce innovative sales methodologies and tools to improve operational efficiency and sales outcomes.


Qualifications:



  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; an MBA is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years in sales and marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing a large, geographically distributed team.
  • Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in the sports and infrastructure industry or similar sectors is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, strategic planning, and data analysis skills; proficiency in CRM and sales analytics tools.
  • Attributes: Highly goal-oriented, adaptable, and capable of driving change within a fast-paced environment.
