Brief about the role:
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Training Specialist to join our team. The Training Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs across various departments within the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and the ability to create engaging training content that supports employee development and organizational goals.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- This role will be solely responsible for managing and designing content & learning needs for the training vertical.
- Hence it requires a professional who can take accountability of projects assigned, collaborate to seek guidance & execute projects as planned.
- You will be responsible for developing learning content like Presentations, Brochures, job aids, selling toolkit – Pitch deck, small videos for bite-size learning, design programs for ILT (Instructor led training) & VLT (Virtual trainings), designing soft skills training modules in collaboration with Training manager.
- You will collaborate with a diverse group of designers, product managers, trainers & sales stakeholders like (RM’s, ZM’s, Sales Support, Service teams), subject matter experts (SMEs), in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines; coordinating your workload with the wider team but working independently.
- In this role, you will learn product & work along with training manager to design content for sales & service team. Content would be spread across: Product training, Functional training programs & Soft Skill programs.
- Research, Design, Review & Timely updating of content developed for various training programme. Review and enhance existing training materials to ensure relevance, accuracy, and alignment with learning goals.
- Create short (5-6 mins) videos & create digital library on features & hardware for self-paced learning of channel partners, service teams & sales team
- Developing training material –Presentations, Videos, Participant workbooks, Self-learning manuals, Assessments, Competency-based assessments, E-learning modules, facilitators guides, Certificates, Brochures, and Posters for training programs.
- Conduct needs assessments and learning gap analyses to identify training needs and recommend appropriate learning solutions.
- Design assessments and evaluations to measure learning outcomes and provide actionable feedback for continuous improvement.
Skillset & Qualifications Required:
- Should have a passion to create & design content (i.e., videos, voiceover, vlogs, blogs, presentations, and animated videos)
- Should be open to learning new products/features and absorb and replicate what's been coached
- Practical knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and MS365 (Mail, Calendar, Meet, Drive, and Spreadsheets) or can learn it while working on projects
- Consultative skills/Exp. Working across teams and depts.
- Experience with basic sales skills and the profession of sales knowledge a plus.
- Ability to lead SME/Review meeting. Proactive in leading meetings, giving clear objectives, and sending meeting notes and status update
- Practical knowledge of video editing soft wares like Filmora, Kapcut, Adobe Premier Pro, OBS Studio, Canva, Illustrator etc.
- Aware of new age social media content creation trends like Instagram Reels, type Videos, YouTube based learning content.
