Role : Engineering Manager FrontEnd (React.js Specialist).

Recrud, on behalf of our esteemed client in the E-commerce sector, is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager specializing in FrontEnd technologies, with a particular emphasis on React.js.

This pivotal role is designed for a visionary leader who possesses a deep passion for driving technological innovations and leading teams to achieve remarkable results.

Role Overview :

The Engineering Manager FrontEnd will play a critical role in steering the development of cutting-edge, consumer-facing web applications.

The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 9 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity, guiding front-end development teams.

Your expertise in React.js will be instrumental in elevating our client's E-commerce platform to new heights, ensuring an engaging and seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of talented front-end developers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Drive the architectural decisions and development of high-quality, scalable, and performant web applications using React.js.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and backend engineering, to define product roadmaps and deliver compelling user experiences.

- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and maintain high standards of code quality and application performance.

- Champion best practices in front-end development, including responsive design, web accessibility standards, and front-end testing methodologies.

- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from ideation and planning through to deployment and support.

- Actively contribute to the recruitment and development of front-end engineering talent, building a cohesive and high-performing team.

Required Skills and Experience :

- A minimum of 9 years of experience in software development, with a solid foundation in front-end technologies.

- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role, managing or leading front-end development teams.

- Expertise in React.js is mandatory, including a thorough understanding of its core principles, lifecycle, hooks, and state management.

- Proficiency in modern front-end development tools and methodologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), Webpack, and responsive web design.

- Experience with front-end testing frameworks and practices.

- A track record of successfully delivering complex E-commerce or web applications.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
