Senior Software Development Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced software engineer to deliver insights from massive scale data in real time from SaaS based applications on Altair One TM platform. We are currently hiring a software engineer to join our engineering team to build and maintain a secure and robust cloud-based infrastructure on Altair One TM platform.
What You Will Do:
Design, develop, test and deliver complete user story with minimal supervision. Collaborate on architecture and integration requirements across multiple teams. Work closely with distributed teams across the world to ensure that the Altair One TM platform meets the Altair quality guidelines. Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications. Gather and analyse metrics from both operating systems and applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding. Showcase POCs enabling use of new frameworks/technologies.What You Will Need:
Expert understanding and demonstrated experience in Go. Experience in configuring and managing distributed storage solutions such as MinIO, seaweedfs and ceph. Experience in working on cloud Object store such as (blob storage, s3, gcs). Good understanding of Object-Oriented Concepts and kubernetes. Must be able to design, develop, test and deliver complete user story with minimal supervision. Experience in delivering products using agile software development practices. Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders located across the globe (developers, PM, Customers etc.) Able to work independently with minimal supervision and keep stakeholders informed of progress toward goals.How You Will Be Successful:
