Job Summary:We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to oversee our operations in the capacityof Manager – Govt BusinessThe responsible for leading and managing all the operations, identifying business opportunities withingovernment, driving business growth, handling government tendering processes, liaising withgovernment officials, and ensuring smooth team operations in service based role. This role requires a strategic leader withstrong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, along with a deep understanding ofgovernment processes and policies.Key Responsibilities: Government Tendering: Lead and manage the complete process of government tendering,including identification, submission, and negotiation of tenders for state and centralgovernment projects. Liaison with Government Officials: Build and maintain strong relationships with keygovernment officials and stakeholders. Represent the company in government meetings,events, and consultations. Team Management: Oversee and manage the state-level team, ensuring productivity,motivation, and a collaborative work environment. Set clear objectives and monitor teamperformance to achieve business goals. Business Development: Identify business opportunities within the state government sectorand drive new partnerships and contracts. Ensure continuous engagement with potentialclients and partners. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and compliancewith state government policies. Prepare and submit timely reports on state-level activities,performance, and financial results. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and expandbusiness operations within the state. Align state goals with overall company objectives. Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, andgovernment policies impacting the business. Provide insights and recommendations forimprovements and innovations. Contract Management: Oversee the execution and management of government contracts toensure that deliverables are met in accordance with timelines, budgets, and qualitystandards. Budget Management: Manage the state's budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation ofresources for various projects, tenders, and operational activities.Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role inmanaging operations, in the government sector preferably in Service based role. Tendering Experience: Strong knowledge and experience in government tenderingprocesses, including preparation, submission, and negotiations. Government Liaison: Proven experience in liaising with government officials and handlingpublic sector relationships. Team Management: Ability to lead and motivate a team, manage diverse workgroups, andmaintain a positive work environment. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English andHindi, with the ability to interact with senior government officials and internal teamseffectively. Strategic Vision: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to planand implement strategies for business development and growth at the state level. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or anyrelevant field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus. Knowledge of Government Policies: Familiarity with state-specific regulations, policies, andprocedures related to government procurement, contracts, and tenders.Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Government Sector: Previous experience in handling IT or Manpower government contracts, government procurement, and liaising with government departments is highly desirable. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage and mentor teamsacross various functions. Networking Skills: Strong network within government circles and proven track record ofbusiness development with state government projects.
