Position Summary : We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our innovative product engineering team at Fusion Galaxxy.The selected candidate will play a key role in developing and maintaining backend microservices, integrating AI/ML modules, and ensuring scalable cloud deployments for our next-generation insurance automation platform.Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and deploy backend services and RESTful APIs using Python frameworks (FastAPI/Flask/Django).- Architect and implement microservices for modular and scalable product growth.- Work with databases such as MongoDB and Firebase, focusing on design, integration, and performance tuning.- Collaborate with frontend, AI/ML, and DevOps teams for seamless end-to-end solution delivery.- Integrate third-party services, ML models, and OCR/computer vision tools (pytesseract, OpenCV).- Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and maintainability.- Support CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based deployment workflows (preferably on AWS EC2).- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve critical production issues.- Maintain clean code practices, perform code reviews, and document technical processes.Qualifications & Skills : - Minimum 2 years of hands-on Python development experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.- Experience with REST API development and OpenAPI/Swagger documentation.- Familiarity with microservices, Docker, and asynchronous programming.- Proficiency in MongoDB; experience with Firebase/Firestore is a plus.- Comfortable with Linux environments, Git version control, and deployment pipelines.- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms, especially AWS EC2 and S3.- Strong analytical mindset and willingness to learn emerging technologies.- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.Preferred Skills : - Exposure to AI/ML workflows and model integration.- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, or Infrastructure-as-Code.- Understanding of frontend integration (React, Next.js) is a plus.- Prior experience in insurance, fintech, or SaaS-based products will be advantageous (ref:hirist.tech)
