Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our innovative product engineering team at Fusion Galaxxy. The selected candidate will play a key role in developing and maintaining backend microservices, integrating AI/ML modules, and ensuring scalable cloud deployments for our next-generation insurance automation platform.Key

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy backend services and RESTful APIs using Python frameworks (FastAPI/Flask/Django).
  • Architect and implement microservices for modular and scalable product growth.
  • Work with databases such as MongoDB and Firebase, focusing on design, integration, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with frontend, AI/ML, and DevOps teams for seamless end-to-end solution delivery.
  • Integrate third-party services, ML models, and OCR/computer vision tools (pytesseract, OpenCV).
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and maintainability.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based deployment workflows (preferably on AWS EC2).
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve critical production issues.
  • Maintain clean code practices, perform code reviews, and document technical processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on Python development experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
  • Experience with REST API development and OpenAPI/Swagger documentation.
  • Familiarity with microservices, Docker, and asynchronous programming.
  • Proficiency in MongoDB; experience with Firebase/Firestore is a plus.
  • Comfortable with Linux environments, Git version control, and deployment pipelines.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms, especially AWS EC2 and S3.
  • Strong analytical mindset and willingness to learn emerging technologies.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to AI/ML workflows and model integration.
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, or Infrastructure-as-Code.
  • Understanding of frontend integration (React, ) is a plus.
  • Prior experience in insurance, fintech, or SaaS-based products will be advantageous.
