Role Overview
We're seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail/QSR Functional Consultant to lead business transformation initiatives across retail and quick-service restaurant (QSR) operations. You'll bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, driving customer engagement, operational efficiency
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Discovery:
- Conduct workshops to understand client pain points, business processes, reporting & dashboarding needs
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications
Techno Functional Aspects:
- Translate the functional specifications derived from the workshop to a technical fit document
- Identify & highlight feature/reporting/dashboarding gaps
- Collaborate with technical teams to configure and deploy systems aligned with business goals
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as a trusted advisor to marketing, operations, and IT teams
- Ensure alignment between business strategy and technology roadmap
Effective Onboarding
- Ensure all functional specifications are deployed in the software (reports, dashboards, models, audiences etc)
- Train super users of our clients on the platform
- Explain the support mechanism and set cadences for support / business related queries
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in retail or QSR consulting, business analysis, or solution delivery
- Strong understanding of retail/QSR operations: POS, loyalty, CRM, inventory, and customer experience
- Knowledge of Marketing Automation tools & how they function
- Familiarity with analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics) is preferred
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, client-facing environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with omnichannel retail or QSR transformation projects
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and API integrations
