We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Event Manager to join our team at Blue Mermaid Events. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with clients, ensuring the smooth operation of events, and overseeing all aspects of event coordination from start to finish. You will be the main point of contact for clients and will play a key role in making every event a success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relations:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing updates throughout the event planning and execution process.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by providing exceptional customer service and anticipating client needs.
  • Understand client requirements and provide personalized event solutions to meet their expectations.
  • Event Operations:
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of events, ensuring that all logistics and timelines are met.
  • Collaborate with vendors, venues, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Oversee the setup, breakdown, and overall event flow, ensuring everything runs according to plan.
  • Monitor event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and maintaining financial accuracy.
  • Project Management:
  • Track event progress, preparing schedules, and ensuring all milestones are completed on time.
  • Prepare and maintain event documentation, including contracts, vendor agreements, and operational checklists.
  • Manage multiple events simultaneously, ensuring attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Proven 2 years’ experience in event management, client relations, or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving attitude.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when required.
  • Knowledge of event management software and tools is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
