Role Description:

We are seeking a full-time Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships. You will also be involved in market research, analyzing industry trends, and creating business development strategies to maximize growth and profitability for VCS. Take over a mix of existing accounts and new sales territory. To excel in this role you should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality, and have a hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls and inbound warm leads.


Responsibilities:

  • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
  • BDM should have experience in IT industry, with knowledge of application and web development.
  • They should also possess strong negotiation skills.
  • Research organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
  • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
  • Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
  • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills


Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in business development, sales, or related roles
  • Demonstrated ability to generate leads and close deals
  • Experience in sales, marketing, or related field
  • Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Knowledge of software development industry and technology trends
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve results
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Relevant certifications in business development or sales
