Essential/ Key Responsibilities
Site Management:
Supervise and manage construction activities on-site.
Ensure that work is executed in accordance with approved plans and specifications.
Oversee the coordination of various contractors and subcontractors.
Monitor progress and make adjustments to the project plan as needed.
Material and Equipment Management:
Coordinate the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for construction.
Ensure that materials meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
Manage inventory and track usage of materials.
Progress Reporting:
Prepare regular progress reports for project managers and other stakeholders.
Highlight achievements, challenges, and upcoming milestones.
Logistics and Supply Chain Management:
Optimize logistics and supply chain processes for timely delivery of materials.
Coordinate transportation and storage of construction materials.
Schedule Management:
Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule.
Monitor progress against the schedule and make adjustments as necessary.
Coordination with Subcontractors:
Manage relationships with subcontractors and coordinate their activities.
Ensure subcontractors adhere to project timelines and quality standards.
Operational Duties
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
Generate regular reports on project status, highlighting achievements and challenges.
Construction Supervision:
Overseeing the construction process of the OHSR to ensure it meets design specifications and standards. Coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and laborers to ensure the timely and quality completion of construction activities. Monitoring construction progress and addressing any issues that may arise.
Utilities Management:
Coordinate with utility providers for necessary connections and disconnections.
Plan and implement strategies for managing utilities during construction.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement in site operations.
Implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Site Layout and Logistics:
Plan and optimize the site layout for efficient operations.
Manage logistics, including the flow of materials and personnel on-site.
Equipment Maintenance:
Develop and implement a maintenance schedule for construction equipment.
Ensure all equipment is in good working condition to prevent delays.
Required Work Experience & Knowledge
2-4 years of experience is required
Required Education
B. tech in civil engineering / Diploma in civil.
