Overview :
Working under the supervision of the IT Director, the IT Product Lead will be responsible for the company's application systems/products used in the front line of the company's operations. The role will be responsible for translating business requirements into product specifications working on an agile methodology. This role will act as a product lead as well as product manager ensuring the proper implementation of application changes in-line with the company's business requirements.
Responsibilities :
- Work with project teams to identify and define product roadmaps in line with company objectives.
- Ensure team needs are met throughout the project life cycle.
- Assist in the preparation of product sprints including time frames, delivery and budget.
- Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise, escalating issues to management/project manager as needed.
- Presentation creation and delivery.
- Work with software vendors to ensure appropriate integrations into product roadmap satisfy the company's requirements.
- Communicate project status effectively and in a timely manner to all levels of management.
- Issue appropriate documentation and identify work process :
- The ability to think logically and manage and effectively prioritize time across numerous projects.
- Excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently within the company to establish what the problem is and explain the solution.
- Team-oriented attitude to help other colleagues and departments with technical problems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Product orientation and vision to develop adequate functionality to remote teams.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Knowledge of project management tools.
- Experience developing products for mobile device implementations.
- Experience in retail systems and / or financial systems preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Openness to new ideas and able to apply innovation to all aspects of the company's operations.
- Experience with Vista, Oracle Netsuite or other ERP providers.
- Knowledge of full life cycle implementations for mobile platforms.
- Experience with no-code development frameworks, preferred.
- Exposure to work order systems and understanding of integration challenges.
- Team-management and leadership skills.
- Documentation management and ability to use project management tools.
- Attention to details even under pressure.
- Experience with QA and agile development practices.
- Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Collaborates with peers in support of business goals and objectives.
- Ability to travel 10% - 20%.
