Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Development Manager to build and lead a small but high-impact product development team within our India Global Capability Center.
This leader will drive design, development, and integration of new tools and enhancements to existing enterprise systems (NetSuite, Vista, ADMS, Salesforce), with a focus on low-code (Outsystems) and Microsoft stack solutions.
The ideal candidate will blend technical expertise with people leadership, building repeatable capabilities for global teams while ensuring robust integration, quality, and delivery at scale.
Key Responsibilities :
Team Leadership & Delivery :
- Build and manage a team of developers in Bangalore.
- Work with PMO to translate business requirements from US stakeholders into scalable technical solutions.
- Oversee project timelines, prioritization, and delivery quality for multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Establish development best practices, including code reviews, documentation, and version control.
Product Development & Integration :
- Lead and Hands on design and build of applications on Outsystems and Microsoft technologies (C#, .NET, Power Platform, SQL Server).
- Manage integrations between enterprise tools (NetSuite, Vista, ADMS, Salesforce) to streamline business workflows.
- Develop APIs, workflows, and connectors as needed to support cross-functional automation.
- Drive rapid prototyping and iterative delivery in line with Agile/DevOps practices.
Governance & Quality :
- Define coding standards, testing protocols, and release processes to minimize production issues.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and reusable components.
- Monitor and report progress, risks, and outcomes to US IT leadership and India Head of Operations.
Stakeholder Collaboration :
- Work closely with PMO, Infrastructure team and US IT leadership to align priorities.
- Provide technical guidance to non-technical stakeholders; translate business needs into system capabilities.
- Part of the IT management team with CIO, PMO, and Infrastructure managers.
Key Qualifications :
- Education: Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience : 10 to 15 years in software development; at least 5years in a lead or managerial role.
- Proven experience with OutSystems and Microsoft stack (i..e., C#, .NET, SQL, and Power Platform).
- Track record of integrating enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, custom apps).
- Experience building small, high-performing teams and mentoring developers.
Skills :
- Strong understanding of Waterfall, Agile, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration.
- The ability to balance quick delivery with scalable architecture.
Preferred Profile :
Domain Experience :
- Prior exposure to ERP systems (NetSuite, Vista) and CRM platforms (Salesforce).
- Experience with disaster management, utilities, or large-scale field operations systems is highly desirable.
Leadership Qualities :
- Track record of establishing a new team or COE(Center of Excellence) from scratch.
- Ability to mentor junior developers and create a high-performance, low-attrition environment.
Additional Skills :
- Familiarity with GIS tools or location-based integrations (nice-to-have).
- Strong documentation and process-orientation mindset to create reusable frameworks.
Any Certifications a plus :
- OutSystems Professional or Expert Developer certification.
- Microsoft Power Platform / Azure certifications.
- Agile or Scrum Master certification a plus.
Success Metrics (First 6 to 12 Months) :
- Development team fully hired, onboarded, and delivering on project milestones.
- At least 2 to 3 new or improved integrations/applications delivered with minimal defects.
- Documented development standards, SOPs, and reusable components established.
- Full implementation and use of MS planner, Teams, SharePoint, and Azure Dev ops
- India GCC recognized as a reliable Dev Hub for US stakeholders.
