This role requires a proven leader with deep expertise in vehicle systems, powertrain, EV technologies, and components, capable of driving new product introduction, managing R&D teams, and collaborating with global stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:- Product Development Leadership: Lead the design, validation, and launch of new automotive and mobility solutions across 2W/4W/EV segments.- Innovation & Technology Roadmap: Define and execute the R&D roadmap for next-gen mobility solutions, focusing on EVs, lightweighting, and sustainable materials.- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless product industrialization.- Client & OEM Collaboration: Work closely with OEMs, Tier-1s, and global R&D partners to co-develop cutting-edge technologies.- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide multi-disciplinary R&D engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and IP generation.- Regulatory & Compliance: Ensure products meet global safety, emission, and regulatory standards (AIS, BS VI, Euro standards).- Market Intelligence: Track global tech trends, patents, and competitor innovations to keep the organization ahead of the curve.- Budget & Resource Planning: Manage R&D budgets, vendor relationships, and external collaborations to optimize efficiency.Candidate Profile:- Experience: 15-20 years in automotive R&D with exposure to vehicle systems, components, and mobility technologies.- Proven expertise in EV / Hybrid systems, powertrain, chassis, or safety systems.- Strong experience in product lifecycle management (concept to SOP).- Experience leading large engineering/R&D teams and cross-border collaboration.- Strong IP mindset with patents/publications preferred.- Education: B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical/Automobile/Electrical); M.Tech/MBA preferred.What We Offer:Leadership role in shaping next-gen automotive technologies in India's fastest-growing mobility hub.Exposure to global R&D projects and partnerships.Competitive compensation package.Platform to influence industry innovation and future mobility.Note: A Mandatory F2F interaction with NATIVE team(https://nativeworld.com/) will be scheduled before we take the profile forward with our client.
