Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage a team of infrastructure engineers responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructure solutions, encompassing networks, servers, storage, and cloud services.

- Define and execute the strategic vision, roadmap, and objectives for IT infrastructure that aligns with the organization's business goals and growth strategies.

- Develop and enforce infrastructure standards, policies, and procedures to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of IT systems and services.

- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies, trends, and industry best practices in infrastructure to recommend innovative solutions for enhancing the organization's capabilities.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including security, operations, and application development, to ensure infrastructure initiatives align with business needs and priorities.

- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to infrastructure team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

- Monitor and analyze infrastructure performance, capacity, and availability, implementing proactive measures to optimize performance and mitigate risks.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing IT infrastructure, network operations, or systems engineering (minimum 5 years).

- Strong expertise in infrastructure technologies, covering networks, servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud computing (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Familiarity with ITIL framework, IT service management processes, and enterprise architecture principles.

- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

- Demonstrated capability to lead teams, drive initiatives, and achieve results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Technical Skills :

- Proficient in network protocols, routing, and switching technologies (e.g. TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF).

- Strong understanding of server administration, including Windows Server and Linux operating systems.

- Knowledge of storage technologies like SAN, NAS, and storage virtualization (e.g. vSAN).

- Familiarity with virtualization platforms like VMware vSphere or Hyper-V.

- Experience with cloud computing concepts and deployment models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).

- Scripting knowledge (e.g. PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasks.

Preferred Skills :

- Certification in IT infrastructure (e.g. CCNA, MCSE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).

- Experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Chef).

- Understanding of DevOps practices and agile methodologies.
