This role is crucial in ensuring material availability, optimising cost, andmaintaining the supply chain workflow for drone manufacturing and related components.Key Responsibilities:Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for components, raw materials, consumables, and critical drone parts such as motors, ESCs, batteries, sensors, electronics, and carbon frames.Prepare Purchase Orders (POs), track order status, follow up with vendors for timely delivery, and coordinate with finance for payments and invoice clearance.Maintain cost sheets, quotations, vendor comparisons, and ensure all procurement activities align with production and project requirements.Manage inventory levels for raw materials, electronic/mechanical parts, tools, and consumables, ensuring availability through daily/weekly/monthly stock audits.Update GRN, stock-in/out records, movement registers, and maintain clear documentation for all incoming and outgoing materials.Implement FIFO, proper storage methods, and safe handling practices, including segregated inventory for R&D, production, and demo units, and special handling of Li-ion batteries.Organize warehouse storage areas, racks, bins, and shelves with proper labelling and categorization of components.Coordinate with logistics for inbound/outbound shipments and ensure packing material availability for timely dispatches.Ensure compliance with safety, ESD protection, and warehouse management best practices.Collaborate closely with Production, R&D, QC, and Finance teams to support material planning, timely issuance, and assembly requirements.Monitor low stock levels, highlight critical material shortages, procurement blockers, and assist in BOM verification and consumption tracking.Prepare daily/weekly stock reports, maintain purchase records and vendor files, track pricing history, and report inventory discrepancies or ageing stock to management.Required Skills & Qualifications:Strong knowledge of procurement processes.Understanding of inventory control and warehouse management.Hands-on experience with electronic/mechanical components (preferred for drone industry).Basic understanding of BOM, GRN, stock-in/out.Strong negotiation and communication skills.MS Excel proficiency.Knowledge of ERP/inventory tools (preferred).Time management and multitasking ability.Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field.1–3 years of experience in inventory or procurement (hardware/electronics/drone industry preferred).Freshers with strong learning ability may also be considered.Other DetailsProbation Period: 6 months from joiningWork Mode: On-site (Bhubaneswar office)Date of Joining: Immediate preferredEmployee Benefits:Competitive salary packageFree health insuranceComplimentary lunch, snacks, and beveragesLetter of Recommendation for outstanding contributorsSupportive, innovation-driven workplace cultureBonV Aero is an equal opportunity employer.
