Please do not contact the recruiter directly.We are seeking a talented individual to join our Metrics, Analytics & Reporting team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mumbai/ Pune/ Gurgaon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. The Management Intelligence (MI) team is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Reporting Analyst for a distributed agile team. You will be part of the Reporting Services Team and will be responsible for effectively monitoring and delivering on multiple global and regional reports (specifically for European region). You will become familiar with the reporting processes and will be generating the reports within the agreed SLA timeframe. You will also be responsible for report validation, managing access to the reports, managing reporting incident and problem tickets, and supporting end users with reporting queries. You will be working closely with the development team to troubleshoot and document reporting issues and provide regular communications to the end users of the reports. Reporting into the Reporting Operations Team Lead, you will be a key member of a team at the centre of Marsh's data journey and will serve as an advocate for the power of data. We will count on you to: Ensure that incoming BAU reporting is handled effectively, promptly (in line with SLA's) and accurately so that the needs of internal and external customers are consistently met and exceeded. Perform data analysis utilizing knowledge of insurance and data handling to deliver BAU reports and Ad Hoc queries. Responsible for resolving issues that arise during report generation and work closely with the development team on these issues as necessary. Provide support to the Reporting Operations Service Desk team for Reporting Incidents and Requests for Information. Manage ADO tickets end to end and provide status updates / raise potential blockers during daily stand up. Process onboarding of new reports (i.e. handover) and implement clear and concise Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's). Manage reporting incident communications for BAU reports (i.e. Reporting Incident Updates) by providing necessary details to Service Desk for distribution. What You Need to Have: Technical Skills 3 - 5 years working as a reporting analyst (or supporting role) in an agile environment with globally distributed teams. Knowledge of data visualization tools (preferably Qlik Sense and PowerBI) to manage online reports. Knowledge of Business Objects platform. Ability to problem solve reporting issues as they arise. Ability to perform data analysis for ad-hoc reporting queries. Knowledge of agile methodologies, in particular Kanban. Good understanding of MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Outlook Interpersonal skills - every bit as important as the technical side Collaborating and working well with others; you will be working closely with your colleagues in the Reporting Services team as well as the other teams within MI (Business Analysis, Data Quality and Data Prep, Development team, Regional Reporting Teams and the Data Operations team) and outside of MI (Data Strategy, Qlik Admin team). Excellent communication skills including the ability to explain technical issues to a business audience and vice-versa. Providing regular updates and being transparent with our stakeholders is key in addition to documentation of our reporting processes. A continuous learner with the ability to problem solve quickly as reporting issues arise; being proactive and taking end to end ownership of reporting issues. Effective time management skills and the ability to prioritize deliverables. Influencing and negotiation skills in a virtual / remote environment. You will be based in India and will be working closely with the Reporting Services team members based in Ireland, UK and India.
