Tamil Nadu: Salem, Sriperumbudur, Chennai, Tiruppur, Erode, Coimbatore

Salary Range: ₹20,000 – ₹35,000

Role Overview

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market reach, and managing customer relationships within assigned territories. The role requires strong industrial market knowledge, proactive sales strategies, and the ability to meet revenue targets consistently. Candidates must be adept at understanding customer requirements and promoting solutions that align with market needs.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.

Identify new business opportunities and expand customer base within assigned territory.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and key industry stakeholders.

Conduct regular market visits to assess customer requirements, competitor activities, and emerging trends.

Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to company credit policies.

Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and territory analyses for management review.

Provide after-sales support and address customer concerns to maintain high satisfaction levels.

Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, logistics, and service) to ensure smooth order fulfillment.

Train, guide, and motivate local sales representatives or dealers where applicable.

Represent the company in trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events.

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

1–2 years of proven experience in sales/marketing, preferably in the industrial sector .

Strong knowledge of the local industrial market in Kerala and/or Tamil Nadu.

Skills Required

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to develop long-term client relationships and retain key accounts.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.

Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of working independently.
