- Job Description:-

As the Merchant Onboarding Head for UPI Payment Integration, you will play a crucial role in expanding our merchant base and ensuring smooth integration of UPI payment options. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire onboarding process, from initial contact with potential merchants to the successful integration of our UPI payment system into their existing infrastructure. Your main objective will be to drive adoption of UPI payments among merchants and ensure a seamless experience for both merchants and their customers.

- Responsibilities:-

1. - Merchant Acquisition:- Identify and approach potential merchants who would benefit from integrating UPI payments into their business operations.

2. - Onboarding Process:- Lead the end-to-end onboarding process, including initial contact, gathering requirements, coordinating with internal teams for integration, and providing ongoing support to ensure successful implementation.

3. - Relationship Management:- Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants, understanding their needs and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during the onboarding process.

4. - Cross-functional Collaboration:- Work closely with internal teams, including product development, engineering, and customer support, to ensure smooth integration and resolve any technical or operational challenges.

5. - Training and Support:- Provide training and support to merchants on how to effectively use the UPI payment system, including troubleshooting technical issues and optimizing payment processes.

6. - Compliance and Security:- Ensure that all merchants comply with regulatory requirements and adhere to security standards to protect against fraud and data breaches.

7. - Performance Monitoring:- Track and analyze key metrics related to merchant onboarding and UPI payment adoption, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive growth.

- Qualifications:-

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

- Proven experience in merchant acquisition or business development, preferably in the fintech or payments industry.

- In-depth knowledge of UPI payment systems and understanding of the Indian digital payments landscape.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with merchants.

- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and security standards related to digital payments.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to track and interpret data to drive business decisions.

- Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and motivate a team of onboarding specialists.
