JOB DESCRIPTION:

- The incumbent will be instrumental in driving the sales and marketing of specialty chemicals in steel manufacturing sectors.

- This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and practical experience in steel production to understand client requirements and present effective solutions that meet their needs while ensuring impactful product deliverables and client satisfaction.

- Develop and implement marketing plans for specialty chemicals tailored to the steel industry.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while nurturing relationships with existing clients across the steel sector.

- Deliver comprehensive technical presentations to clients, articulating the benefits of products and their applications

- Collaborate with R&D to align products with client feedback and market needs specific to the industry.

- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

- Address client inquiries and provide extensive product support to enhance user experience.

- Monitor product performance in client applications, communicating progress and results to customers.

- Encourage a culture of customer focus and continuous improvement within the team.

- Excellent relationship skills, with the ability to find, maintain, and grow profitable relationships across.

- Proven track record in sales and marketing, preferably with experience in specialty chemicals or allied products tailored to steel manufacturing plants.

- Comprehensive understanding of steel manufacturing processes

- Must have a strong network within the steel sector

- Ability to analyze customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

- Strong customer focus with perceptive and engaging customer management skills.

- Proven project management and strategic planning capabilities.

- A self-motivated, results-oriented approach with readiness to travel frequently.

Min. 18 - 20 years of relevant work experience in industrial sales catering to steelindustry

BE in Metallurgy / Chemical Engineering
